Our Story
Hot Sauce for the People. By the People.
Every bottle has a story, and ours started the best way possible: in a kitchen with ingredients from the local grocery store, a stubborn refusal to accept boring heat, and zero intention of launching a company.
How It Started
I wasn't looking to shake up an industry. For a long time, I struggled to find my footing and figure out my place in the world. As an Afro-Latina woman, building this brand became a way to step outside, connect with people, and build something genuine.
We started simple—friends and family passing around jars. When they kept coming back asking for more, it turned into something bigger. While I own and run this, I couldn't have done it without my husband and family right beside me every step of the way.
Our Mission
Great hot sauce belongs to everyone. It is for the taco Tuesday crowd, the wing night regulars, and anyone trying to rescue a plain bowl of rice.
We make bold sauces without the gimmicks. They are complex without being pretentious, and priced so you actually use them instead of just leaving them on a shelf.
The Process
It all starts by picking up fresh ingredients right from the local grocery store, choosing flavor first and heat second because a sauce that only burns is a dare, not food. Keeping the ingredient lists short and honest means if you cannot pronounce it, it does not go in the bottle.
Every run is made by hand with the focus that comes from genuinely caring about the final product. We taste, we adjust, and we taste again.
The People
The name is the point. It is the family helping me keep it all running, the friends who tasted those very first batches, and everyone sharing their meals and connecting over a bottle.
This is a true family-run, small-batch operation built on a simple belief: food made with intention and shared with community makes life better. Welcome to the table.
